A rally light engineered to win. LUXSIS 5000 EURO RALLY EDITION.
The LUXSIS 5000 is has proven itself for over a decade in Australia's outback in some of the toughest conditions on the planet. In response to the European rally market we have evolved the design to reflect the realms of historic rallying. The size and conservative style is that of a quiet achiever, a predominatley black silouhette and no excessive branding.
Spot & Spread in seconds
The bulb holder is machined from a solid monoblock of aluminium. It features a 12V 150W xenophot halogen bulb that can be replaced in seconds with no tools. Switch from SPOT to SPREAD BEAM via a simple PUSH & TURN.Two SPOTS, Two SPREADS or SPOT/SPREAD combo, the choice is yours to make at any time. No need for extra lights or filters that are always a compromise.
There is no other other halogen that comes close
Turn it on and things become very clear in more ways than one. 5000 lumens per light ready to deliver you a real advantage in not just brightness but effective volume. What you have is a single light outputtting up to 3X more than many other lights. No its not HID or LED, it's HALOGEN done the FYRLYT way. Consider what difference that makes for your rallying. It is the right balance of illumination when frequently switching from high to low beam re dark adaptation. Any experienced rally campaigner recognises this scenario in not just its impact on safety but driver confidence especially as we all get older!
Is your lighting limit unrestricted?
We have the NEMESIS 9000 and MOFO 12000. Both of these utilise step up voltage convertors unlike the LUXSIS 5000. If these are of interst to you let the team a WEST RALLY SPARES know and we will get you equipped!
Designed for a lifetime
The LUXSIS 5000 features lifetime "as new" performance thanks to FYRLYT's commitment to smart considered design and quality. This light is fully servicable by the owner with every component available.
Light quality is priority #01
The LUXSIS 5000 utilises traditional halogen illumination and users experience all the historic benefits of:
-
100 C.R.I | Colour rendering index
-
Visual Acuity | Superior detail and depth perception
-
Tyndall Effect | Less glare in dust, fog, rain, humidity or snow
-
Dark Adaption | Better vision response time when dipping lights
These significant benefits are often compromised with the modern approach to vehicle lighting utilising common short wavelength light sources. Whilst this may initially appear counter intuitive we provide the evidence and reasoning why. FYRLYT is the world leader in the design and evolution of long wavelength halogen as a light source in auxilary automotive lighting.

The Four Reasons Why
Core to FYRLYT's superior light quality is four scientific principles. FYRLYT is the lone voice in sharing this information with you whilst others and the media seem fixated on 'bright white light' and often meaningless '1 LUX @ X distance without relevant context. If driving safety is your priority you need to look beyond marketing.

C.R.I.
Colour Rendering Index (CRI) measures a light's colour accuracy. It is important to ensure safe and accurate colour recognition of road signs and environmental objects.

VISUAL ACUITY
Visual acuity is crucial for driving lights as it allows drivers to see details on the road ahead, detect potential hazards & read road signs, contributing to safer driving.

TYNDALL EFFECT
The Tyndall effect is the scattering of light by particles in the air. Important for driving lights to reduce glare and improve visibility in dust, smoke, rain, fog and snow.

DARK ADAPTATION
Dark adaptation is important when dipping from high beam to low beam to allow the eyes to quickly adjust to the lower light level and maintain visibility and reaction times to avoid hazards.
